I got Rock Band for the Wii recently. What's awesome is I have two brothers, which basically means that Brother A can play Guitar, Brother B can sing, and I can play the Drums. I never played the drums before, but I was easily able to get into it, since I am a pretty rhythm-based individual. However, the drum pedal made the stand feel a little cramped. This wasn't too bad, but it is unfortunate that the "default" place for the pedal made my leg ache after two songs, and made me hunch over like a beast. I tried placing the pedal forward, past the drum set, but now I had to reach too far to get it. I couldn't put it directly under the set, since there are two bars there that it would wobble on. Thankfully, a good compromise I found was to the right of the drum set, and a little forward. Now, I'm tall--about 6'3". It's *kind of* ok that they didn't try to accommodate for a man of my stature, but it's almost as if someone who was half a foot (maybe even a full foot) shorter than me would have felt the same way, that the foot pedal was cramping. I guess it's not that bad, but I think they should have at least given an option that made someone like me feel just a little cramped, not a whole lot like I felt.
There's something worse than that though--my brothers pretty quickly started to get annoyed with something. And that something was the "clack clack clack clack-ey clack clack clack clack-ey clack" of my drums. Apparently, Rock Band forgot to put on good sound-insulating rubber cushions on their drumkit, so that my bandmates can actually hear their on-screen counterparts while playing. I mean, come on! I can't even hear the percussion at ALL with this clackety clack crap going on. Finally, I had had enough, and I did this:

And now I can drum like a freak, without waking anyone up, for no money extra at all.
